I love this little juicer. Since I bought it, we’ve been using it every morning to make our own apple and carrot juice. About 8 oz each time.

It’s very powerful.

I was amazed how much juice would come out of the little carrots!

I always ‘hated’ fruit juices. My family has never seen me order or buy fruit juices. But ever since we started making fresh juice, I love fresh fruit juice now.

One red delicious apple and 2 carrots would make plenty for both of us. After about a week, I got greedy and wanted to pack more stuff in our already great juice so I added Black Currant extract powder and Buffered Vit C powder.

I don’t mind the cleaning part at all. I use one of those ‘magic eraser’ sponges and works great.

This is a good juicer for the price. It does as well as advertised. The only cons are: if you are juicing a lot of fruit/veggies you need to clean out the pulp fairly frequently, you don’t want your juicer to sit too long after using it (it is easiest to clean as soon as you are done juicing). I use a toothbrush to clean the blade/basket. The pros: Good quality, strong motor, makes great juice, and fits nicely into cabinets or onto the counter itself (good size). Overall I would highly recommend this juicer.

Just after I ordered Jack LaLane’s Express juicer, I came upon the L’Equip. After reading the specs on the L’Equip, I hoped for the best with Jack LaLane’s Express. : /

I’ve had several juicers over the years and the Express was actually a pretty nice machine. However it only worked for about a month. Customer Service was hard to run down but finally I was able to return it. Did I say I had to pay an extra for only a 3 year warranty? That says a lot about the lack of confidence they had in their own product.

The L’Equip comes with a 6 year warranty – for free.

It’s also slightly louder than the Express but not terribly so, but the motor is much stronger than the Express and has a higher RPM.

The design is very much like the Juiceman Jr. except it has a wide feeder chute. However “wide feeder chute” is a misnomer because there’s a wedge within the chute. Well obviously this defeats the purpose of having a wide chute to begin with since there’s a wedge inside, but apparently the purpose of the wedge it to keep the produce from spinning around inside the chute.

The high rpm occasionally results in produce being rapidly and violently being bounced back out of the chute but you adjust to that after a bit.

The wedge inside the L’Equip is pretty much the only thing I dislike about this machine though. I enjoyed the wide chute on the Express and it made juicing quite fast, but you have to take an extra step of cutting to accommodate the wedge inside the L’Equip.

It cleans well but you should remember to lift the bowl and pour out the little bit of extra juice that’s left over when you’re finished juicing.

I like mine and use it regularly but all machines take some time to adjust to and overall in my opinion, this machine beats the Juiceman Jr and the Express.

Unfortunately the L’Equip Visor has a serious design faultThe juicer comes with an array of attachments, and it can use carrots, greens even apples and pineapples fine (despite some reviews stating otherwise – the reviewer obviously hadnt used the correct attachment!).However, I feel I must add that I HAVE had some significant problems with the juicer. And this results in much more than not juicing properly.There is a serious design fault of the plastic feeding chamber, that results in it cracking (at the point where the fruit feeds into the auger screw and along) if too much pressure is put on it. This pressure need not be more than a slice of carrot or two, or one or two nuts. I have had one replacement already, with only using the juicer for 2 months (the supplier admitted there is a design fault, as many others have also had this problem, and promtply sent out a replacement part). Is a great shame for an otherwise fantastic juicer with so much potential; however, for this reason alone, I recommend anyone who is considering a juicer, to look at alternative models.

My experience with the L’Equip Visor 509 which I have been using for approximately 6 months is mixed. It has an attractive appearance, with an attached cover, a compact footprint, and a 6 year guarantee. I have not used any other juicing processors so I can not compare quality of product however there are some design issues that need to be addressed. The unit comes with two catch bowls that mate nicely together underneath the juicer body, but the pulp frequently falls in the juice catch bowl, especially if it is soft. This could have been easily avoided if the juice nozzle had been slightly longer.I tried making the banana ice cream and it was quite good, however I found the noodle attachments useless. It is impossibly slow with only three openings, and the “noodles” entwine and stick together as they come out. I used flour, perhaps semolina would work better if you want those kinds of noodles, but don’t buy this unit for the noodle or spaghetti nozzles or the nut butter nozzle which produces a rough, granular material, is very slow and the ground nuts do not get smoother when mixed with oil.The removable parts of the unit are easy to clean, however I’ve had a big problem with back leakage where the juicer body fits into the motor body. The juice dribbles onto and into the unit, gets behind the clamping ring attachment and associated parts and screws and is virtually impossible to clean, creating a very unhygienic situation with the residue drying inside and behind motor body parts. When I mentioned this to someone at the company they told me it could be dismantled and be cleaned. Gathering tools, fiddling with tiny Philips screws, pulling apart the mechanism, cleaning each piece and the unit case and then figuring the right way to put it all back together again, is just not practical each time you use the unit.

I spent months researching juicers and surfing veggie themed threads. That research paid off because after owning this juicer for a year, we’re still as thrilled as the first day it arrived. I bought it from cooking.com because Amazon wasn’t selling it at the time. The price seems to be about the same still. My wife and I juice everyday and the juicer is sooo easy to clean. Just put a plastic bag in the pulp receptacle and you’re good to go. One less item to wash. We use a toothbrush on the blade basket and a regular sponge on the bowl. The blade/basket and bowl are stainless steel. Those infomercial juicers use cheap plastic wherever possible. Trust me, you’re only paying for advertising with those TV juicers. This is the real deal. It’s quieter than our blender and one large apple, 3 carrots and two oranges yields us two massive glasses of juice. It also has a small foot print. I bought one for my mother and my wife is getting one for her sister. If you have a large family you might want to skip the mini and go for the regular sized L’Equip but many online reviews say that the mini is actually better for some reason. All I can say is that it is more than enough for a family of four. After a year, the blades are still sharp although not as sharp as new but still going strong. If you’re looking for THE BEST JUICER for less than 100 bucks this is it!!

I am very pleased with this juicer. I have used my sister’s premium juicer a couple of times and this compares well.

It handles everything well that I have tried including delicate leaf, hard and soft vegetables, several fruits and melons with seeds and rinds. The yield is good as shown by the dry pulp. Yield does depend on produce type and quality as with all juicers. The speed that the produce is pushed into the blade also affects it. Its power invites vigorous processing so press slowly and at a steady rate, as recommended in the manual, if you want more juice. And process different items in order of increasing tendency to clog the strainer and declining juice content.

Cleanup is easy except for the pulp basket. The sharp corners of this bat wing shaped container are hard to get to when hand cleaning — this is no problem in the dishwasher or if you line it with a plastic bag to collect pulp to throw out as most do. I sometimes save the pulp, add water to make a slurry, season it and then drink or spoon it to get the extra fiber. It’s not always appetizing but neither is Metamucil.

One reviewer pointed out that the plastic ring on top of the metal juice bowl provides a place for food residue to hide. The ring seems to fit tight and any gap there is too small see. I haven’t seen any particles there after processing but they would be small since this area is exposed only to juice after passing through the strainer. To be safe, I rinse it immediately after juicing and run a toothbrush around the edge to loosen any residue that might be unseen after brushing the straner basket.

The manual is very concise. It only gives assembly and cleaning instructions along with some cursory juicing tips, so you may need a separate book for recipes and more tips.

I really like the contrast of the gray (it’s also available in traditional white) and amber plastic along with the polished stainless. The dark amber cover won’t show stains like those from carrots on normal clear ones. The unit also seems to be well made — maybe you’ve already guessed I’m an engineer. I am confident enough with its construction to order a replacement blade to have when this one gets dull.

An excellent juicer, has more power than any I could find in this price range. The motor does not wind down, all the pulp is ejected into the back container providing clean juice! I compared 6 juicers to this one and none could compare to its power. No problems with this at all since I purchased it and I use it every day. I like the stainless steel top where the extractor fits over, most other Juicers have plastic. This juicer is fast, fairly quiet, and in quality and power, it compares to juicers in the 0+ range. It is very easy to clean and operate. You can’t go wrong with this at its price!

I use to own one of those relic juicers but it was just too big and bulky and too much trouble to clean. Plus it wasted more juice then it produced. I found this while searching for a replacement extractor about four years ago. It still works and all the pulp is dry that comes from it. It only takes minutes to clean it by hand. I love juicing carrots in it along with oranges, apples, pineapples, and cucumbers. I would recommend cutting the larger pieces in half or lengthwise to make them fit in the chute.

I wish I had listened to E.Buhkman of Ohio’s review, instead I went with the others. I have owned at least four other brands of juicers, for the money this is probably the worst. It produces very little juice and it stopped the second time I used it, while only juicing carrots and cabbage. I was really looking forward to the extra large chute(BAA HUM BUG!!!) it is only slightly larger than the Juiceman juicer. I had to clean it after two carrots to get it to start again. When I pushed the on button it hummed and gradually started again, only to give little juice,I found the rest of the juice when I squeezed the pulp. It was medium as far as sound. The basket takes a little extra to remove. I gave it two stars because it looks cute. If you still want to purchase one of these, I’ll gladly sell mine.

The main selling point of this juicer was the pulp extractor and the option to attach a catch bag for the pulp. This made for extended use without having to stop and change a filter or empty the main compartment. The very first day I had this I juiced 25 lbs of beets, 25 lbs of golden beets, 8 lbs of parsley, 6 lbs of cilantro and 11 lbs of red peppers. I did not have one problem and the whole list only took about an hour from start to finish. That is professional endurance that I am looking for. This efficient machine is now a permanent fixture in my kitchen. As the Chef des Cuisine for The Dining Room at the Inn on Biltmore Estate, I would highly recommend this brand and model to other professional chefs and serious home juicers.With a hand-shake in mind,
